Serving as part of the marketing team & am the top sustainability coordinator (under the LEED system). Reporting to all of the vice presidents of one of Washington, DC's top ten general contractors, responsibilities for this position include technical Green Building coordination with Owners, Architects, and Subcontractors; LEED Scorecard evaluations; technical proposal writing, development, and graphic enhancement; creating and customizing marketing materials and presentations for potential clients; finding, tracking, and presenting potential project leads to all of SIGAL's executives on a bi-weekly basis; participating in project bid teams; producing the company newsletter; and coordinating award submissions.

Publicity Intern, Regnery Publishing May 2005 - May 2006 // Washington, DC
Full time internship (summer), part time (fall). Volunteer position in charge of planning a two hundred person social mixer event. Responsibilities included writing an event proposal, securing a location, conceptualizing, designing, and printing event related signage, invitations (print and electronic), and sponsorship boards. The 2007 event was held in a section of the National Zoo that was partitioned off and close coordination with Zoo and USGBC staff was critical to the success of the event.
